A Little African History

Despite its proximity to Africa and the Middle East, along with all the existing archaeological and genetic evidence, Hollywood has refused to acknowledge that ancient Rome was a melting pot. In fact, before being sacked by the invading Slavic and Germanic tribes from Northern Europe, the original inhabitants were a dark-skinned people called the Etruscans. Even after the Nordic invasion, Blacks were not systematically restricted to the lower classes of Roman society. On the  contrary, some became emperors, writers, philosophers, entertainers, generals and popes. African-born Roman Emperor Septimius Severus began ruling the Roman Empire around 193 A.D. There were at least four other Black emperors after him. Lusius Quietus, originally born a Berber prince, was one of Rome’s greatest African generals. Upon re-examining an ancient Roman skeleton buried in a stone sarcophagus with luxury imports including jewelry made of elephant ivory, a mirror and a blue glass perfume jar,...

Which Came First Eve, or Adam?

The question of which came first, Eve or Adam, has plagued and tormented the “ Tree of Life ” for longer than I wish to ponder.  It is right in line with the “Chicken or Egg,”  “Black or White” question.  So, which did come first Eve, or Adam?”  I will address this issue in an attempt to put this ridiculously stupid question to rest right here and now forever! People in every ethnic group, despite their age, or gender should know one thing.  In the species called man,  EVERY female arrives on this Earth, from her Creator, with all of her eggs already inside her body .  Therefore, it stands to reason that the proverbial chicken and egg arrived together, at the same time, in one package. Exactly who IS her (AND his) Creator?  Her Creator is the tree from which she grew.  The same tree that breathed air into her for the 9 months she spent engulfed in water.  So, the ridiculous NONSENSE of female Eve coming from male Adam’s rib to b...

David Banner Spotlight

David Banner is an inspiration to me. For he's one of the few rappers, producers, beat makers, etc who is in the spotlight and still speaks out  against violence in the "Black" community, on national news shows such as CNN, etc and he's talked about it in several of his interviews. He brings truth to light. I thank him, appreciate him and I salute him. I ask that you tell me what you think about David Banner, his activism and his music. I share with you but, a few YouTube vids and an article about him. http://allhiphop.com/2007/08/16/david-banner-stop-attacking-the-kids/

Napoléon Bonaparte

Napoléon Bonaparte's Caribbean Genocide Napoléon's legacy in the Caribbean is one of great Caribbean, genocide and destruction. The French historian Claude Ribbe states: "...Napoleon ordered the killing of as many blacks as possible in Haiti and Guadeloupe to be replaced by new, docile slaves from Africa," (Randall) Late in the war against the Haitian revolutionary forces, Napoléon Bonaparte's troops resorted to outright genocidal tactics. In 1803, General "Rochambeau [Napolé on's supreme commander and under his direct orders], accompanied by the French Generals Pageot and Lavalette, undertook to subdue [the Haitian troops]''. His arrival at Jacmel was signalized by a horrible crime: by his orders, about 100 natives, who were only suspected of having little zeal for France, were thrown into the hold of a man-of-war 2, the hatchways of which were tightly closed; the men were then suffocated by the fumes of the ignited sulphur, their corpses be...

Amazing Grace

Sisters and brothers, here's the original author of the famous church song "Amazing Grace." Amazing Grace is a song that is sung in every "Black" church that I know of. Plus, a few white churches here in Mobile, Alabama. A certain part of the song was high lighted when it was pointed out to me and that part of the song was "saved a wretch like me."  No one that I know is a wretch. Think about it. How many of you consider yourselves and call yourselves a wretch? Google's definition of the word wretch is "an unfortunate or unhappy person." As melanated people we breath life into the words that we speak. Unfortunately, a lot of us say things without thinking first. The New Webster's Dictionary And Thesaurus of the  English Language defines the word: wretch n. a person in great misfortune, a contemptible or wicked person, wretch-ed adj. miserably sad of exceedingly poor quality, construction etc., contemptible, causing or characteri...

Washitaw

The Washitaw's are the aboriginal people of America. They've been in Tymerita (America) more than 50,000 years. Yet few people know of their existence and that's the way that the "Government" likes and wants it. The Washitaw's had no boundaries to their land. So the whole of both North and South America truly belongs to them. The Washitaw's were/ are a peaceful people, a giving people and a friendly people. If they weren't then explorers never would have been able to set foot on the shores of North America. The Empress of the Washitaw was named Empress Verdiacee Tiara Washington Turner Goston El Bay. She wrote an epic book "Return Of The Ancient Ones (The True History Uncovered) of The Washitaw De Dugdahmoundyah Empire The Washitaw Files" which details and explains all that one needs to know about the Washitaw's. It is a definite must have for one who is a seeker of truth about aboriginal people in my opinion. T...

The Lecture Speaks for Its Self

Ring Aroung The Rosy

The words to the Ring around the rosy children's ring game have their origin in English history. The historical period dates back to the Great Plague of London in 1665 (bubonic plague) or even before when the first out break of the Plague hit England in the 1300's. The symptoms of the plague included a rosy red rash in the shape of a ring on the skin (Ring around the rosy). Pockets and pouches were filled with sweet smelling herbs ( or posies) which were carried due to the belief that the disease was transmitted by bad smells. The term "Ashes Ashes" refers to the cremation of the dead bodies! The death rate was over 60% and the plague was only halted by the Great Fire of London in 1666 which killed the rats which carried the disease which was transmitting via water sources. The English version of "Ring around the rosy" replaces Ashes with (A-tishoo, A-tishoo) as violent sneezing was another symptom of the disease. We recommend the following site for comprehe...

Queen Philippa: England's First Black Queen

England's First Black Queen, Mother of the Black Prince Philippa was the daughter of William of Hainault, a lord in part of what is now Belgium. When she was nine the King of England, Edward II, decided that he would marry his son, the future Edward III, to her, and sent one of his bishops, a Bishop Stapeldon, to look at her. He described her thus: "The lady whom we saw has not uncomely hair, betwixt blue-black and brown. Her head is cleaned shaped; her forehead high and broad, and standing somewhat forward. Her face narrows between the eyes, and the lower part of her face is still more narrow and slender than the forehead. Her eyes are blackish brown and deep. Her nose is fairly smooth and even, save that is somewhat broad at the tip and flattened, yet it is no snub nose. Her nostrils are also broad, her mouth fairly wide. Her lips somewhat full and especially the lower lip…a...

Ella Fitzgerald

“I owe Marilyn Monroe a real debt…it was because of her that I played the Mocambo, a very popular nightclub in the ’50s. She personally called the owner of the Mocambo, and told him she wanted me booked immediately, and if he would do it, she would take a front table every night. She told him — and it was true, due to Marilyn’s superstar status — that the press would go wild. The owner said yes, and Marilyn was there, front table, every night. The press went overboard. After that, I never had to play a small jazz club again. She was an unusual woman — a little ahead of her times. And she didn’t know it.” ~Ella Fitzgerald It was truly unusual to see a black singer on the stage of a white establishment during the days of segregation. However, Ella Fitzgerald broke the color line with the help of Marilyn Monroe.
