James Mercer Langston Hughes (February 1, 1902 – May 22, 1967)

Langston Hughes was born on February 1, 1902, in Joplin, Missouri. He published his first poem in 1921. He attended Columbia University, but left after one year to travel. His poetry was later promoted by Vachel Lindsay, and Hughes published his first book in 1926. He went on to write countless works of poetry, prose and plays, as well as a popular column for the   Chicago Defender . He died on May 22, 1967. James Mercer Langston Hughes was born on February 1, 1902, in Joplin, Missouri. His parents, James Hughes and Carrie Langston, separated soon after his birth, and his father moved to Mexico. While Hughes’s mother moved around during his youth, Hughes was raised primarily by his maternal grandmother, Mary, until she died in his early teens. From that point, he went to live with his mother, and they moved to several cities before eventually settling in Cleveland, Ohio. It was during this time that Hughes first began to write poetry, and that one of his teachers first introduc...

Egyptologists sought to take Egypt out of Africa

"Those early Egyptologists sought to take Egypt out of Africa and black skinned Africans out of Egypt. It was a conspiracy to minimize African’s role in early human civilization. Such a conspiracy could only be carried out because of the near uniform belief among whites in the inferiority of Africans. The Great Enslavement of Africans had seen to it that whites developed and maintained negative attitudes about African history and capability. What purposes and whose interests were served by the steady denial of the blackness of the ancient Egyptians? All one has to do is to examine the record and it will be clear that these scholars present a complex argument against an African Egypt. They did this despite the overwhelming nature of the facts." --Unkown

Benjamin Banneker (November 9, 1731 – October 9, 1806)

He was a  free African American   almanac   author,   surveyor ,   naturalist   and  farmer . Born in   Baltimore County, Maryland , to a free   African American   woman and a former   slave , Banneker had little formal education and was largely self-taught. He is known for being part of a group led by   Major Andrew Ellicott   that surveyed the borders of the original   District of Columbia , the federal capital district of the   United States . Banneker's knowledge of  astronomy  helped him author a commercially successful series of almanacs. He corresponded with  Thomas Jefferson ,  drafter  of the  United States Declaration of Independence , on the topics of  slavery  and  racial equality .  Abolitionists  and advocates of racial equality promoted and praised his works. Although a fire on the day of Banneker's funeral destroyed many of his...

Angkor Wat

Chinese dynastic records from as early as 192 C.E. reference a kingdom of Lin-yi, which meant the “land of Black men.” The kingdom of Lin-yi was known as Champa in Sanskrit documents. They stated the inhabitants possessed “‘black skin, eyes deep in the orbit, nose turned up, hair frizzy” at a period when they were not yet subject to foreign domination and preserved the purity of this  type. These records expressly state that: “For the complexion of men, they consider Black the most beautiful. In all the kingdoms of the southern region, it is the same.” During this same period Cham ships, known to the Chinese by the appellation kun-lun bo (the “vessels of Black men”), were navigating the currents of the Indian Ocean from Southeast Asia to Madagascar. Among the major centers of Champa were those based near Dong Duong, Tra Kieu and Pandulanga (Phan-Rang). The great southern capital was Vijaya (Binh Dinh), and the early northern capital and religious center was Mi Son. More than 7...

Who are they?

The Gond is a very large tribe of Central India, numbering 12.7 million. Traditionally they have been cultivating land, producing crops, and raising livestock. They grow rice, wheat, and different types of lentils, sesame, millet and cotton. Location They live spread out in Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Assam and West Bengal. A small number (2,500) live in Gujarat. Origin The derivation of the word Gond is uncertain. According to some, it may have come from khonda which means hill. General Cunningham, an ethnologist, speculated that it may come from Gauda, another name for eastern Uttar Pradesh and Bengal. In fact, the Gonds call themselves Koitur or Koi. They are the largest Dravidian tribe. Historically, they were the most important group of original Indian tribes. In the 1500′s, several Gond dynasties were established and the Gond Rajas ruled until they were conquered by Muslim armies in 1592. In the 1700′s, the G...

Autochthonous Peoples

The remnant seed of “ Autochthonous Peoples of This Land ” formerly known as “ Turtle Island ,” but today is called America, are Negroid in phenotype.  Our ancient ancestors were here from the beginning i.e., ab origine, and they too were Negroid in phenotype. When the Pilgrims arrived from Europe (including the Vikings that many people forget about), they encountered only copper colored, chocolate brown, people that are today called Negro, Black, Colored, and African American. There is a reason that scientists have a well documented gaping whole in DNA research for North America.  The vast majority of people on the Native Indian reservations today refuse to cooperate, because they are Caucasian imposters. They realize that if they were to cooperate and provide their DNA samples, most of them would come up as European/Caucasian with 00.00% Native American, or Southeast Asian ancestral DNA (which their scholars say are the first peoples of America). Some of us call...

The Reconnection

The Reconnection is something different than a Reconnective Healing. The personal Reconnection is a "holy event"; you make the choice by yourself and you undergo this Reconnection only once in your life.. The Reconnection consists of two treatments of approximately one hour, including intake and evaluation, on two different days. The second treatment should take place within 72 hours, not more than 2 nights after the first treatment. During the session you lie on a massage table with your clothes on and with your eyes closed. The personal Reconnection is a permanent commitment with yourself. You become reconnected with your personal blueprint, with who you are meant to be. Originally, the meridians of our body were connected with a network that surrounds our planet. Indeed, these are not the meridians used in acupuncture. These network lines were meant for us to connect us to an immeasurable larger network and thus connect us to the whole universe. Over time we w...
